GENESIS & APOCALYPSIS – VIDEO MAPPING
The first and the final book of the Christian Bible inspired us the create the videos. In Genesis, we focused on the book's first two chapters, and we stuck to the described events. In the case of Apocalypsis, we had to simplify the story to fit it into 2 minutes. Thus, we focused on the opening of the Seven Seals, after which we went straight to the end of the story—the New Jerusalem.

SIMULACRIN – INTERACTIVE FILM
Both stories are divided into eight parts. They begin with an introduction of the characters, followed by the Seven Days of Creation / the opening of the Seven Seals. Animated linear illustrations mark the parts. They are revealing a part of the mosaic that precedes each Day. An opening of the eyes on a sefirot-inspired symbol illustrates the opening of the seal.
God is the only protagonist in Genesis. He is introduced in the beginning by the Eye of Providence and later depicted as the Hand of God, which creates the world.
In Apocalypsis, the story is much more complicated, and there are a lot of involved characters, such as the Lamb or the Four Horsemen.
GENESIS & APOCALYPSIS – VIDEO MAPPING
The videos are based on found footage videos from films, music videos or other sources. We also used many symbols from various cultures to elevate the mystic nature of the events.

In both videos, we used Philip Glass's masterpieces. For Genesis, we edited the Another Look at Harmony – Part IV, and for Apocalypsis, we used Pruit Igoe from the Koyaanisqatsi soundtrack.
